Thanks for the info. I've got the records on Reeve's attack but I hadn't heard about your colleague's petrification, or about the link between them. For what it's worth, if it's any comfort, I suspect that these incidents aren't related to the struggle in your own world-- if only because in both cases, individuals from several worlds were targeted. Though it's quite possible that there is some quality linking the victims, world of origin isn't the defining factor.

I take it that the effect wore off Reno after a time? Or did you succeed in finding something to reverse it?
